Scenario

You are asked to make a CDR solution operational within an existing African logistics corridor where: power availability is intermittent and not guaranteed; freight flows are inconsistent and largely informal; cross-border coordination introduces delays and significant uncertainty.

Your response must address all five points:

  1. 1.Entry pointWhere exactly would you intervene first (node, actor, process)? Why that point over others?
  2. 2.Operational designWhat would physically move, where, and how? Which existing infrastructure or actors would you rely on?
  3. 3.Experience anchorName two constraints you have personally dealt with in similar contexts. Explain how that shapes your approach here.
  4. 4.Trade-offsWhat are you deliberately NOT optimising for in the first year, and why?
  5. 5.Failure riskWhere is this most likely to fail in practice, and what early signal would tell you it is going wrong?
